Use the Layered Image Editor (LIE) to change the direction of the scales to align with UVs/Texture maps. Use multiple shaders to completely change the look of your favorite figures and costumes.

Shaders do not use reflective maps. For more accurate results when blending objects into environments, 360 scenes are recommended.

Shaders begin with a neutral primed surface and include a wide array of colors that can be easily applied giving you greater flexibility and virtually endless design choices.
