Wet and Tanned Skins For Genesis 9 comes with a dedicated shader allowing you to turn all your Genesis 9 figures into splendidly tanned and/or wet actors for your summer, sports, fight, or water scenes, and so much more. Wet and Tanned Skins have been conceived so that you can build the tan and skin tone, the wet look, and the tan lines of your figures.

Wet and Tanned Skins goes even further, allowing you to explore a wide range of skins, from very pale to super tanned, with different base tones. You can also browse a huge variety of wet types, from dry to very wet, with or without drips or drops. Everything was conceived to be the most efficient for everyone, from beginners to professional users.

Regarding the tan and tan lines, thanks to a unique Shader Mixer Shader, the skin is now composed of a succession of layers that blend Base Color maps as they would be in Photoshop, with different layers for saturation, hue, and lightness, as well as layers for tan lines saturation, hue, and lightness.

Change the tan quickly and easily either by using ready-to-use full presets or by combining several tan boosters and several preset levels of darkness, saturation, and hue variations for Base Color maps. You can achieve hundreds of possible tan levels and types, from very pale to extremely tanned skins, or from cool brown tans to warm orange tones. In addition, Tan Boosters and Volume Tan Boosters presets, acting on the gamma of base color and translucency color image maps, allow you to widen the variety of achievable tans and tones. Many more tan looks can be achieved using a very clear and efficient global control interface.

The wet and tanned skin shader also includes two dedicated wet layers that are controllable with the general basic properties (amount, roughness, bump) and additional advanced properties. Thanks to the various wet options and bump presets, you can achieve the wet look you want, from dry to wet skins. Even more wet looks can be achieved by using the global interface included. In addition to the two wet layers, you will also find two special “Fast Wet” presets, as well as all the Wet Maps coming in geometry shells versions, these three bonus methods make the wet looks even more versatile and also compatible both with PBRSkin and Wet and Tanned Skins figures.

A huge number of partial or full presets are included for tan (skin tones), tan lines, and wet looks, and even more skin looks can be created using the dedicated Global Interface. This unique interface is provided as a global manager, and you will find in this interface three tabs: one to adjust the tan look or, more generally, the skin tone, the second one for the wet look, and the last tab for the color characteristics of the tan lines. Thanks to the interface, you can achieve many more tan looks, tan lines colors, and wet looks than with the partial and full presets alone, and in a very efficient way since all controls are gathered by theme.

For more realism, many tan lines are included, as direct presets or LIE overlays if you want to combine them to create more complex tan lines patterns. Of course, you can fine-tune the color characteristics of the untanned skin under the tan lines.

Due to the independent nature of wetness and tan, you can easily access every mix of wetness and tan you can imagine. Beach scenes, rainy days, swimming pool renders, sports, action and effort scenes, summertime artwork, and much more can now rely on this new tool to reach a new dimension.

A script is included to transfer the skin tan and wet properties to the anatomical elements of the figure for the respective gender the tan lines were built for, and anatomical tan lines overlays corresponding to the body tan lines are available as presets too. Even though it is very easy to use, two PDF documents are available: the first is a small two-page version for people in a hurry, and the second one is full documentation for more curious users.
