We have included eight (8) high definition 128 Megapixel HDRI environments (16,384 x 8,192 @ 32-bit) for the absolute most realistic looking environment you can have, but we also include medium resolution (4096 x 2048) and low resolution (1024 x 512) HDRI’s, as well. That way you can still use these with low end machines or to increase responsiveness on more capable systems. The landscapes are based on a moon environment with stone rocks and dust features, plus star and planet backgrounds, all lit with a sun as the central source of lighting and shadows. There are 7 on the surface of the moon and 2 in orbit. These work great with the “Genesis 3 Male Astronaut”. You’ll add more realism and save setup time without the need for fill lights, by using scene props or plane primitives (just out of camera range) to bounce light around the scene.
