The Maidens of Mars – Merchant Outfit for the Genesis 9 and Genesis 8 Female figures for use in DAZ Studio using iRay.

This set consists of 8-piece Outfits for the Genesis 9 and Genesis 8 Female figure, Some props and a selection of material, shader, and dForce presets. The Genesis 9 version is optimized to work with the Genesis 9 Feminine shape.

The Cloak is a Prop parented to the figure. The Cloak includes several Adjustment Morphs and a few for setting the initial shape for simulation.

The Pouches and Cloak Clasps are Props and may need some adjustment after posing or simulating.

The outfit includes 4 hierarchical material presets for changing the look of the outfit.
Shader presets are included for changing selected surfaces of the outfit.
Also “Oso Janus Double Sided Shader Merchant Resource for Iray” is used for adding shaders to the interior of the cloak. Interior Shaders need to be applied or reapplied after applying the Main Shader.

The Outfit also includes several shaping and adjustment morphs to Help fit many shapes and poses.

dForce Presets are included for the Cloak as well as the Top and Bottom.
The Top and Bottom are designed to be used without dForce, but can be set to be simulated using included dForce Presets.

Includes a couple of Simulation Setting Presets. It is recommended to run simulations with Collision Mesh Resolution set to Viewport. Presets included to set this along with either Best or Better Collision Mode

The Top and Bottom have some Special Morphs. Some of these may look best when the top or bottom are simulated. Some allow the item to be shaped as if it is Off the figure and not being worn and is meant to be used not fitted to a figure.

This set includes Collision Helper figures to aid in simulating the Cloak. They can help using the Cloak with Hair figures and can help prevent parts of the character, like ears and fingers, from poking through the cloak. The Collision Helpers are set to not show when rendering.
